TOP-MOUNTED GASHOLDER

The TECON Top-Mounted Biogas Holder essentially consists of an outer membrane, an inner membrane, and an optional belt support construction with a central mast. The actual gas storage function is performed by the inner membrane. The air space between the membranes is pressurized with an air support blower, ensuring a constant operating pressure of the system. Constant pressure is maintained by a pressure regulation valve.

The outer membrane is supported by the pressurized air and absorbs loads from wind and snow. The belt support construction prevents the inner membrane from possible damage caused by the stirrers in the event of low gas levels. An inspection window is integrated into the outer membrane. It allows easy monitoring of the biogas fill level. The exact fill level is constantly monitored by a laser or wire length measuring system. The over- and under-pressure safety valves ensure that the membrane will not be damaged by too high or too low gas pressure. Top-Mounted Biogas Holders are mainly used in agricultural and industrial applications.
